Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Oakford collects through oakford.ai, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Demo form fields. Your first name, email, and phone number. Only what you type.
- Microphone audio during a live demo. Passed to your browser's speech-to-text and to our AI provider in real time. We don't record it, and we don't store the resulting transcript beyond the duration of the call session in your tab.
- Aggregate analytics. Page views, basic device info. No third-party trackers, no advertising pixels.
How we use it
- To run the live demo (microphone audio is processed in real time; the conversation is generated by Google's Gemini API).
- To follow up with you about Oakford if you opt in via the demo form's consent checkbox. You can opt out any time by replying STOP to a text or unsubscribing from any email.
- To improve the product. Aggregated, non-identifying signals only.
Who we share it with
- Google Gemini API, which processes the live audio and text to generate replies. Subject to Google's Generative AI terms. Audio sent to the API is not used to train shared models when accessed via paid API keys, per Google's policy.
- Email and SMS providers if you opt in to follow-up communications.
- We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Demo form submissions: until you ask us to delete them, or eighteen months from your last interaction, whichever comes first. Live-call audio and transcripts: discarded at the end of the session.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] from the address you used and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie for basic site functionality. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the date above and (if you've opted in to communications) email you a heads up.
